Create Character
Create an intelligent character in Holoworld is easy and fun. You can get started without any experience in AI or 3D.
Step 1: Go to the Create page
Start by the "Create Character" sections on the home page or click the "CREATE" option on the left side bar of the Holoworld.
This would bring you to the create character page. Each characters are made up of two components: Brain(essential) and Body(optional). Brain contains several elements that help you define the personality of characters. Body gives physical form to your character, allows you to customize characters' appearance and animations.
Let's start from defining brain by clicking on the "START" option on the Brain Card.
Step 2: Character Card
The left side is the Character Card and it is the simplest way you can create a character. If you have a twitter bot in mind or you want to get help from AI, you can interact with the right side and go to "AI Trainer" part.
Name: The name would be the primary identifier for you and other users to interact with the character. If your character comes with a famous personality or a well-known concet, name would be a powerful tool for character definition. If the name is general like "Sam", then the personality and background would be crucial to shape your character's actions.
Category: The category are tags that enable characters to be discovered in the marketplace
Short Bio: The short bio is a one sentence intro about your character. This would used for display and auto-generate background. It would not affect your character's performance. But it can give other users a first impression of your character.
Personality: The personality should be a high dimension summary of your character's characteristics. It represent as an emoji with a single word, including general personality type, zodiac, MBTI, accent, dere.
Voice: The voice is how your character sounds like. They would speak to you in this sound.
Background: The background defines your character's personality, includes its personality, appearance, behavior, life experience, relationships, habits, preferences, etc.
2D Avatar: The 2D Avatar serves as the visual representation of your character. You can either use the default image or personalize your character's appearance by uploading a custom image.
Character visibility: The character visibility is the button under the 2D Avatar and controls accessibility of your character. You can choose between two options: "Public" and "Private". "Public" would allow your character be visible at Holoworld's homepage and every users can interact with it. "Private" would makes your character invisible to other users and you are the only person can view and interact with it.
In the creating process, you can click at the "Playground" tab at the right side and preview your character. If you are a beginner, you can save your character and start to chat now! But we also have advanced brain card for you.
Step 3: Advanced Features (optional)
The advanced brain card include three additonal field to help you add more things to your characters!
Example Dialog: The example dialog are sample conversations between your character and users. It would help you shape the personality of characters.
Greetings: The greetings is the first message the character say to user at the start of a new conversation. It can set the tone and guide the direction of the interaction.
Scenarios: The scenario would be the context of the conversation. It would help you to talk about specific topics with your characters.
Knowledge Base: The knowledge base is the knowledge dictionary you equip for your character. It is designed to store and provide knowledge of your files, enabling your character to recall and utilize the information during interactions.
Now you go over everything you need to create a brain, press the "save" button and play with your character!
Step 4: Give your character a body (optional)
Bring your character to life in 3D! Add immersion and expression to your character by adjusting your character's physical appearance, fashion, and movements.
That's it! You can now create an intelligent Holoworld character that you or anyone can chat, stream, and Vtube with! You can preview it with "preview" button and then start to chat!
